Check out these "Old" Items

When we closed up Aunt Anne's house these were some of the things that I took with me. This little roasting pan has a special memory for me. When we would go to visit with Aunt Anne she would make a jello salad. She always fixed it in the this little pan. It was usually orange jello with grated carrots, raisin, celery, walnuts and apples. She loved to make it for us.

These next two items were my Grandma Niharts. I don't remember her when she was able to use these items but I often wonder what she made with them. I pull this grinder out once a year at Thanksgiving time to make cranberry relish.

This scale sits on my counter year round. I use it quite a bit. Measuring out meat into different size package. I also divide my bread dough and check the weight to see if they are even (not really necessary but I like to use the scale).

Anne's outfit

This was an outfit that was Aunt Anne's. I believe it from the 1940's. Laura wore it last night for a Halloween Party. There are several more outfits that I would like to take pictures of.
